This wire is compatible with existing hardware typically used in one-pair PVC drop wire applications. Advantages of glass as strength member are its crosstalk characteristics which are similar to the existing outside plant exchange cables. Two twisted pairs are placed parallel between the strength members with a PVC overall jacket.
