Description
The CG-390-CBxxx is part of Corning Cable SystemsÂ’ family of 303 series connectors. It is designed to increase protector module access while maintaining high density, with the 303-type (3 and 4 type) modules arranged in a 5 x 20 configuration. This connector terminates 100 outside plant pairs and provides voltage or voltage and current protection for central office wiring and equipment. The unique angled design of the CG-390-CBxxx connector provides full visibility to every protector unit. This makes it easy to locate, remove and replace protector units, even in low light areas. The CG-390-CBxxx uses gold-plated protector unit receptacles. A full range of 303-type protector units is available for the CG-390-CBxxx with gold-plated pins, including Corning Cable SystemsÂ’ Solid-State Overvoltage Protector (SSOVP) units.
