NEW A high-grade steel spring and one piece forged hook used in the loop of a derrick load line to prevent the wire rope from burying itself in the pole. Hook mushroom head slips into the the loop eye Spring is placed between the loop and the hook When the pole sets, pressure on the wire rope is released, expanding the spring and dropping the rope Both components can be used in many other lifting applications with any wire rope up to 3/4 in. dia. Spring is 2-1/8 in. (54 mm) OD x 18-7/16 in. (47 cm) long Clevis offers wide 1 in. (25 mm) opening for large pulling eyes. Clevis rated for 15,000 pounds and is approx. 7 in. long.
