    RUS INDUSTRIES TYCO 804059-000 HEAT SHRINKABLE CABLE END CAPS WITH AIR VALVE RANGE 1.7-3.5 INCHES **MOQ 25** MINIMUM ORDER 25 VAAC and FAAC self-adhering, heat-shrinkable cable end caps seal water out and seal pressure in on polyethylene jacketed cable, pipes and conduits. Systems approved, these highly reliable end caps are available with or without valves. They are used extensively by major telephone companies and telephone cable manufacturers. Reliability through rugged design A special design and a tough new compound make VAAC and FAAC end caps highly resistant to impact, even at very low temperatures. Cable pressure is maintained throughout thermal cycles from -40¢ªF to 140¢ªF and thermal shock tests to -100¢ªF. Convenience The expansion ratios enable just four sizes of end caps to cover cables from 0.4 inches to 3.5 inches in diameter. Inventories are reduced, and ordering is simplified. One step sealing When fully recovered, VAAC and FAAC end caps bond directly to the cable jacket. Separate application of sealant, tapes, or hose clamps is eliminated. Easy installation and removal VAAC and FAAC end caps are quickly installed by one person. No special training is required. The operator simply wipes loose dirt from the cable and heats the cap until it has shrunk over the cable end. When using an approved torch to recover the cap, the operator must protect the cable sheath by using a three-inch wrap of aluminum tape adjacent to the cable. To remove the assembly, the operator just makes slits in the cap at one-and-a-half-inch intervals and pulls it off the cable. Pressure rating VAAC and FAAC end caps seal 12 psig continuously under typical use and environmental conditions. The product is unaffected by flash testing at 25 psig.
